Ten Things To Do In Las Vegas For Free Or Cheap!

What comes to your mind when you think about Las Vegas?

Gambling, partying, Sin City?

I had that in mind when I arrived at the Las Vegas airport. It also did not help when I noticed all the slot machines in the airport as well. Nonetheless, I was still excited to see what Las Vegas had to offer. Even though I intended to do some gambling ( because why not), I lost interest in wanting to do it after going everywhere. I got so mesmerized by all of the sights of Las Vegas while riding in the Uber. Once I arrived to my hotel, I was ready to explore Las Vegas

Everything that I listed is either free or under $50 per person. Also, all activities are not related to gambling or partying either, just if you do not want to do that.

I included a free scavenger hunt for your Las Vegas trip so you can add a little bit more fun to your time there. I wish I had thought of this when I went, but I am doing this the next time I go with a group of friends.

Disclaimer: Prices can change, and the prices rise during the weekend.

The Stratosphere is the US tallest observation building. It has a restaurant that overlooks Las Vegas, which makes for an excellent experience. They also have rides that you can enjoy at the top of the building. Even some of the rides, such as X-Scream and Insanity, will take you over the edge of the building! If you are adventurous, it will make for a fun activity. I did not do it because I would be too busy freaking out to enjoy it.

3.Visit the Bellagio Botanical Conservatory Garden- FREE

When I walked into the gardens, I was in complete awe. It was so beautiful with a tall fountain, statues, flowers, and trees. The Garden’s them changes depending on the current season of the year. There were many spots for you to take pictures with your friends, family or by yourself. However, when I went in there, it was pretty crowded.

4.Watch the Rain show in Miracle Miles Shops- FREE

My primary purpose of going to Miracle Miles Shops was to shop. However, when I got by the Ben and Jerry shop, I noticed a crowd of people starting to form around the fountain. I was confused until someone said the Rainstorm was about to begin. I was thinking, “How is that even possible.” Well, after watching the show, anything is possible. It was an excellent show to watch while eating some Ben and Jerry’s. I would encourage you to watch a presentation during a shopping break.

5.Visit Freemont Street- Free

Freemont Street is the Old Las Vegas Strip. It is filled with Casinos such as the Golden Nugget and The D and places to drink and eat. It also has concerts and many street performers. Freemont Street is also home to the Heart Attack Grill. Unfortunately, I did not get to try it out, but you get to eat free if you weigh over 350 pounds. Last but not least, there is a show on the strip ceiling that you can watch. If you still feel adventurous after doing the Stratosphere, you can zipline through the Old Strip.

Located in Caesar palace, the Fountain of the Gods is a lovely sculpture for taking pictures. However, there is usually a crowd of people waiting to take pictures here. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture because I was too focused on eating my gelato. However, it is still a lovely sight to see and to people watch you if you are into that.

9.Take a ride on the Gondola at Venetian -$34 per person

The Gondola ride takes you inside or outside the Venetian Hotel, which is an Italy theme hotel. There are tons of more activities to do in Las Vegas that I did not cover. You would be doing a lot of scrolling if I included everything! This leads to the purpose of the scavenger hunt: to do some more exploring while you are in Las Vegas. I am going back to Las Vegas in March 2022, so hopefully, I can provide some more free and cheap activities for you guys. I hope you enjoy your time in Las Vegas and be sure to take a lot of pictures.
