How to have the best day ever at Magic Kingdom

Are you planning a trip to Magic Kingdom? Well, you came to the right place!

Disney World is one of the most exciting vacation destinations in the world. With its various parks such as Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and the main park…

MAGIC KINGDOM!!

Magic Kingdom was the first park to open when Disney World was created. Therefore, it holds so much history and memories throughout the years.

My husband and I recently went to Disney World and spent THREE days in Magic Kingdom. I guess you can say we know the park like the back of our hands. We couldn’t get enough of the rides, the good-tasting food, and the kids screaming in excitement.

That brings us to today; I would love for you to get the best experience that you can get from your visit to Magic Kingdom.

I do have a couple of tips before we get started:

  • Get to the park as early as you can to beat the crowd
  • Book all Dining Reservations before the trip
  • Stay hydrated! It is going to be hot!
  • Bring a character autograph book

.

1. Book A Table at The Royal Table.

Do you want to eat with Disney Princesses inside the famous Cinderella castle? Well, eating at the Royal Table will be perfect for you. Each party picks their appetizer, entree, and desserts. My appetizer and entree were delicious, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the dessert. That doesn’t mean you wouldn’t like it!

It costs $79 per adult, and kids are $47. It can be pretty pricey, but the experience is worth it. Also, you get the chance to take a picture with the princess, and you get a cool wand or sword to take with you, haha.

WARNING: BOOK AHEAD OF TIME!!

We did not know that this was one of the most booked dining experiences at Disney World. One night, I just stalked the dining page and saw an availability for the Royal table. It would be best if you weren’t up all night looking for a spot; having it booked before you get to Disney would be nice.

2. Ride Space Mountain

Coming from someone who is NOT a thrill seeker, the ride was fun. The only thing I did not like was how dark it was. I guess if I’m going fast, I want to see things. I would suggest doing a fast pass for this ride since it’s one of the popular attractions in the park. Also, if you are still a little nervous about getting on, it last less than 3 minutes, so you are on and off in no time.

3. Ride Tron

Tron is one of the park’s newest attractions. It is a roller coaster ride where you are on your motorcycle ride. It is one of the fastest rides in the park, so I did not get on it. My husband said it was a great experience and would do it again. I will warn you; they have turned people away if you can’t get into the motorcycle setup. While he was on the ride, I was getting a watermelon refresher at the Tron concession stand.

4. Watch the Fireworks

This should be on the Disney World Bucket list. The fireworks show is so beautiful, and they make sure to explode them into different shapes and characters. Toward the end of the fireworks, you can see Tinkle Bell fly from the castle. The show starts at 9 pm, and I suggest getting a spot in front of the castle before 8:30 if you want a good spot. Please, Please, Please do not be like us and run to the fireworks at 9:05 because once the show starts, they block off certain sections of the park, making it harder to get the full show.

5. Ride People Mover

Ahh Yes! The ride is perfect for those who like to relax and not feel like their faces will fly off. People Mover is a tour of some of the rides and locations in the park. You also get a little history of the park as well. So after getting off one of the thrill rides, come to People Mover and relax your heart rate.

6. Attend the Festival of Fantasy Parade

The parade runs daily at 3 pm, and you see all the lovely characters. I would suggest getting as close as possible to the front to get a better chance of character interactions. A better way to get the chance to be upfront is by booking the Disney Genie+ so you can be in a not-so-crowded area. The floats are beautiful, and the performances are phenomenal.

7. Play Buzzlight Year’s, Space Ranger

This is a fun interactive game where you have to shoot at monsters. You will be placed on a ride and it will take you slowly through the course so you can help Buzzlight fight monsters. There will be an X that you shoot, and the more targets, the higher the score! As you can see below, I was bewildered.

8. Buy a Mickey Theme Treat

Your experience isn’t complete without buying a Mickey Mouse Treat. Mickey treats have multiple options, such as ice cream, waffles, candy apples, Beignets, etc. Every time I visit Disney, I must get a Mickey Mouse Treat. I like to switch it up each time I come to Disney so that I can figure out my favorite!

9. Take a Professional Photo in Front of the Castle.

This is one thing I regret not doing. I have a photo and video in front of the castle, but people are in the way. Plenty of photographers around the castle are ready to give you a beautiful memory. They also work there, so they know the best way to take your photo and capture that memory.

10. Attend Monster Inc Laugh Floor

It’s an interactive show that includes audience participation. At first, I did not want to do it because I thought it would be only funny to kids, but It is funny for all ages. It highlights members of the audience and makes funny jokes about it. No worries, though; they won’t say anything offensive. If you are lucky, you might be “That Guy.”

There is so much to do in Magic Kingdom that I did not list, such as the Pirates of the Caribbean and the Seven Dwarfs. There is much to do there, but I know you will have fun regardless of what you do. Make sure you take your breaks and tackle the popular rides first. Enjoy your perfect day at Magic Kingdom, and tell me about it!
