Las Vegas: A Guide To The Ultimate 6-Day Itinerary
Viva Las Vegas! You are planning a Las Vegas trip, but don’t know where to start. This Las Vegas Itinerary is packed with ideas so you can get the most out of your Vegas trip.
As a disclaimer, I will not discuss clubs or the best places to party because I did not do any of it. There are plenty of TikTok videos that have excellent recommendations for that. These ideas vary from budget-friendly to expensive experiences that anyone can do, for the most part.
Some Important FYIs to know before your Las Vegas Trip
- If you see half-naked women and men, cartoon characters, a man with a snake, etc, know that if you take a picture with them, they want money afterwards. They will not mention anything about money until after the photo is taken.
- Many people on the Strip will try to get your attention, whether it is a club promoter, someone trying to get you an escort, or someone trying to sell you timeshares. Just Keep Walking.
- Bring some good walking shoes! Your feet will thank you!
- Do not be caught off guard by the resort fees; many casinos have those if you stay there.
Day 1
Arrival
Be sure to take a photo at the “What Happens Here, Only Happens Here” arch at the airport. You will have plenty of time to snag a picture because it is located at baggage claim.
Take a picture at the Las Vegas Sign (Free)
Were you actually in Las Vegas if you didn’t take a picture in front of the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” Sign?
Visit the Flamingo Habitat (Free)
The Flamingo Habitat is a free activity located at the Flamingo Casino. You take a short walk through the habitat, where ducks, koi fish, and Flamingos are displayed for you to take photos and admire.

Admire the Bellagio Botanical Gardens (Free)
Besides its famous Fountain Show, the Bellagio is known for its gorgeous Botanical Gardens in the middle of the Casino. The Gardens change every season, so the display remains unchanged. The gardens are free, but they can get super crowded. If you want to take a photo in the gardens with fewer people, come back at night or early in the morning.

Watch the Bellagio Fountain Show (Free)
Speaking of the Fountain Show, you have to watch the Fountain Show at the Bellagio. It is a Las Vegas Must-do. The Fountain Show is a free attraction where the fountain dances to a selected song. The show starts on weekdays at 3 PM and on weekends at noon. It runs every 30 minutes until after 7 PM, when it runs every 15 minutes.
Different ways to watch the Fountain Show
- Watch from the Strip (it can get crowded)
- Watch across the Street at one of Paris Casino‘s Restaurants
- Book a Fountain View Room at the Caesars, Cosmopolitan, or the Bellagio
- Eat at One of Bellagio’s Fountain View Restaurants

Watch the Atlantis Show at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace (Free)
The Atlantis Show is a show of the Greek gods. It is a cool history lesson with fire and fountains. It starts from noon to 8 PM at the beginning of the hour. The show is 7 minutes long each time. Just don’t get distracted by the Cheesecake Factory Sign in the back, haha.
Watch a Magic Show ($$)
You will see different magic shows throughout the Strip. David Copperfield, Shin Lim, Matt Franco, etc., are some of the magicians you can choose. I will advise you to see if they have a show available on the day that you want to go.
Day 2
Visit Hash House a Gogo for Breakfast. ($$)
Reservations are Recommended! When I visited this restaurant, they allowed us to walk in, but it took a long time for us to get a seat. I highly suggest making a reservation. This is a popular breakfast spot known for its huge portion sizes. Also, if you have ever watched the show Man Vs Food, this is one of the restaurants that Adam visited when he came to Vegas.
Ride the Gondola at the Venetian ($$)
The Gondola Ride at the Venetian is a cute attraction that takes after the Gondola Ride in Venice, Italy. You will ride on a Gondola with the gondoliers singing and steering the boat. The Ride can seat four people, and it lasts 10 Minutes. You have a choice to either do it outside or inside through the Venetian Hotel.
Take a Picture at the Chandelier Bar at the Cosmopolitan (Free)
Can you do me a favor?
Go to Instagram and type in “Chandelier Bar Las Vegas” into the search bar. You will see LOADS of photos in front of the Chandelier Bar in the Cosmopolitan. The Chandelier is three stories tall, and I recommend taking your picture on the second floor. It is a beautiful Chandelier that is perfect for a good photo op.

Ride New York New York Rollercoaster ($$)
If you are a thrill seeker, head to New York, New York Rollercoaster, and take a ride. You are not allowed to record the ride, even though people have sneaked a video of it. If you do not like being upside down on a rollercoaster, please do not get on this ride. Just wanted to give that warning. As far as the smoothness of the ride, it is close to Space Mountain at Walt Disney World Orlando.
Visit Hershey Chocolate World ($$)
After a quick thrill, settle down and satisfy your sweet tooth at Hershey World. Hershey World is huge and full of different chocolate treats. From Candy, Cookies, Apples, and Strawberries, there is something in there for you to eat and enjoy.
Try Different Cokes from Around the World at the Cocola Store ($$)
If you have never experienced trying Cokes from around the World, you have to do it! Going across the street to the Cocola Store and going up the stairs will lead you to this experience. I will not spoil it, but I believe the “Beverly” will be your favorite.
Get a bunch of M&Ms at the M&Ms Store. ($-$$)
If you did not get enough sweet treats at the Hershey Store, the M&M’s store will finish you off. Enough Said.
Eat at Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen ($$$)
You will see Gordon Ramsay Restaurants throughout the Strip, but Hell’s Kitchen is the one I advise you to try! Walking to the restaurant, you will be greeted by the fiery Hell’s Kitchen Sign. Once you enter the door, a video of Gordon Ramsay will greet you as you wait for your table. Once seated, you will notice that the kitchen has a blue and red side, just like the show.

As far as the food is concerned, it is AMAZING! They have a pre-fix menu and a regular menu. We chose the pre-fix menu, which includes Scallops or Beet Salad, Beef Wellington, and Sticky Toffee Pudding. I genuinely wish I had the Beef Wellington in front of me right now.

Day 3
Visit the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend ($$$)
In this Las Vegas itinerary, we will take a quick trip to Arizona to see these beautiful wonders. More details on the Trip will be here. All I can say is that it would be worth it if you could add it.

Late Night Meal at In-N-Out Burger at the Linq Promenade ($$)
If you aren’t too exhausted from the long day and you want a quick bite to eat, In-N-Out is perfect for ending your night. Since you will return around 9:30-10 PM, In-n-Out is convenient since it stays open late.

Day 4
Sleep In
It is pretty Self-explanatory. After your long day, you must rest up as much as possible.
Hang out at the Pool (Free to $$)
Adding on to your rest, head out to the pool, book a cabana or chair, and rest some more. The pools get a little busy as the day progresses, but at least you will already be resting.
Go to the Stratoshphere (Free or $$)
The Stratosphere is an observation tower in the USA, so go to the top and enjoy the beautiful Vegas Views. If you want to do more while you are at The Stratosphere, there are some thrill-seeker attractions and a restaurant at the top.
Eat at one of the Buffets. ($$-$$$)
A Las Vegas Buffet is something that you have to experience at least once. There are buffets at MGM, Caesar’s Palace, Wynn, and more. I went to the Wynn Buffet, and the food selection was so vast and overwhelming. From different breads, seafood, Mexican food, Italian, Hawaiian, and much much more, there is a meal for just about anyone. The one thing I love about the Wynn is that there is no time limit on how long you can be at the buffet, so you can indulge if you want to.

Watch a Cirque De Soliel Show ($$)
Cirque du Soleil is a show with acrobatics and circus acts that are super entertaining. Las Vegas is home to several different shows that you can choose from. Like the Magic Show, double-check to see if a show is available on this day.
- “O” at Bellagio
- “Mystere” at Treasure Island
- “Michael Jackson: One” at Mandalay Bay
- “Ka” at MGM
- “Mad Apple” at New York New York
Eat at Ocean Prime ($$$)
Ocean Prime is an upscale seafood and Steak restaurant at the Crystal Shoppes by Aria. It was by far my favorite date-night restaurant in Las Vegas. To Find it: You have to go to the second floor of the Crystal Shoppes and walk around until you get by Fendi and go outside. Once you see the Aria’s Museum, the Ocean Prime elevator will be to the left.
You must make a reservation, and I recommend sitting outside. The view at night was really nice. The Food was chef kiss! We ordered a lot of food, so based on what we had, the seafood tower and lobster pasta are a must-try. If you don’t like seafood, don’t be alarmed. The steaks here were phenomenal, especially the Wagyu.

Day 5
Brunch at Yardbird ($$)
Yardbird, located in the Venetian, is an excellent place to start your day. The food and drinks are Southern-based. Their chicken and waffles were the best I’ve ever had, which says a lot since I live in the South. The atmosphere and staff made the experience even better.

Go Shopping ($$-$$$)
Places to Shop
- Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace
- Fashion Show Mall
- Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian
- Miracle Miles Shops at Planet Hollywood
- The Shops at Crystals
Ride the High Roller at the Linq Promenade ($$)
Being the Largest Observation Wheel in the USA, the High Roller is an enormous Ferris wheel located at the LINQ Promenade. You get inside a pod and ride for 30 minutes. If you want, you can book a Pod, where you can drink alcohol. It is a relaxing activity to do in such a busy city.
Watch a Show at the Sphere ($$$)
The Sphere is Las Vegas’s new 1 billion project, where you can watch shows and concerts. Slideshow videos on the outside of the sphere are cool to watch from a distance.

We watch “Postcard from Earth”, a 1-hour video about Earth. The Views at the show are hard to describe. You genuinely feel like you are on the screen as well. They also have effects like wind, smells, and vibrating seats to add to the experience. Before the show, there is a 45-minute interactive show where you can ask different robots questions.

Visit Fremont Street ($-$$)
Fremont Street is the original Las Vegas Strip, home to the Golden Nugget and The D Casino. It is a constant party and many people’s favorite part of Las Vegas. Fremont Street has many street performers, cheap eats, and live music.

You can also zipline across Fremont Street, either seated or superman. Trust me, you will be safe and very protected. The experience looks so cool at night.

Eat at Heart Attack Grill ($$)

The Heart Attack Grill is a famous restaurant known for its outrageous hamburgers. It has a hospital theme, with waiters dressed as nurses. Before you are seated, you have to agree to the restaurant’s rules. If you do not finish your burger, you will be spanked. Once you agree to it, they will place a hospital gown on you. The burgers were big, and even the single-patty burger was big, so many people got spanked when we went.
If you weigh over 350 pounds, you get to eat for free. I know it sounds crazy, but the restaurant is generally insane. However, I believe people should experience it at least once in their lifetime.
Day 6
Eat Breakfast at Buldogis ($$)

This restaurant is 23 minutes away from the Strip. It is known for its tasty Breakfast sandwiches and tasty hot dogs. It is Keith Lee Certified (and there is a sign inside the restaurant), and once you take a bite of the sandwich, you will see why.
Visit Omega Mart at Area 15 ($$)
Now, since you have a quick bite to eat, go to Omega Mart and explore their unique grocery store. I don’t want to spoil too much, but please talk to the Scientist to increase your experience. You can truly spend hours in the unique grocery store.

Do the John Wick Experience at Area 15 ($$)
This was my favorite experience at Area 15. If you are a massive fan of John Wick, you will lovvvveeee this. You will be in the Continental Hotel and aim to escape it. It is more of an experience than a classic escape room. You will be moving around, so wear some comfortable shoes. You will not be allowed to video the experience once you get to the elevators.

There is a maximum of 12 people per group; if your group is smaller than that, you may be paired with others. You can book a private experience for your group, though. Working together with strangers was super fun, and you can make new friends.
Fork n Film ($$$)

The Fork n Film is a movie experience in which you eat meals based on what is on the movie screen.
We got the chance to watch Mulan, so if the characters were eating breakfast, we had the same meal. They also had themed cocktails to fit the movie. There are different movies for different days, so double-check to see if they have a show during the time you are here.
