New Blogging Challenge for Beginners: Blogging Sprint

Are you ready to start a new blogging challenge?

Are you someone who just started a blog or is currently in the beginning phase of getting your blog off the ground? Well keep on reading, I have a challenge for you.

I was recently scrolling on TikTok and I came across this video talking about a “life sprint”. It is essentially cutting out distractions and focusing all your energy on a goal. I was pretty intrigued when I watched the video. I watched some video stitches to the original video and read the comments. Something that I noticed is that a lot of people get to their targeted goal or develop skills that will help them eventually get there.

So that made me think; what if someone went hard at growing their blog? Of course, you are not going to have a $10,000-a-month level of success overnight, but you still need a starting place. That’s the purpose of this challenge; TO GET OUT OF THE BEGINNING PHASE AND START MAKING PROGRESS.

I will be honest with you, I am in the same boat as you are. I have had this blog since 2021 and I did not start spending time on this blog until July of this year (2023). Even then, I still do not work as hard as I should. So while you are doing this challenge, I am doing it along with you. I want everyone who comes across this article to succeed with their blog and accomplish whatever goal that they have set. So let’s get into the challenge

The Blogging Challenge

Here are the rules of the challenge

  • Do this for a minimum of 30 days. You are more than glad to continue on for as long as you want.
  • Remove at least 5 distractions or hindrances from your life during this time. Here’s a list of distractions just in case you may need help with this.
  • Have at least 30 goals for your blog that you want to complete in these 30 days. If you decide to do this challenge longer add 30 more goals per month.
  • Log into your blog every day

Just 4 easy (but not so easy) rules to this challenge. You might read the rules and think it is too much.

.

Thats good! That’s the point! The point of the blog sprint is to focus a lot of time on getting your blog going in the right direction. To create habits that will help you in the long run with your blog. To help fight procrastination and laziness.

I am not telling you to give all of your waking hours to your blog (unless you have the time), because some of us have a family to take care of, a full-time job, or you are a full-time student. However, those moments where you would spend with your distractions, you can spend doing something for your blog. I will say though, you did not create your blog for no reason so you need to spend some time daily working on it. No Procrastination. No Excuses.

To make this challenge a little bit more organized for you, I did come up with a 30-day check-off sheet and a goal tracker. For each day that you mess up one of the rules, you have to start the challenge over.

I will be back to let you know how it went for me and I would love to hear how it went for you as well. Regardless if you are seeing this as soon as it is posted or a few years from now, I hope you take the challenge and grow your blog.

Cut out the distractions and let’s conquer this blogging challenge!
