20 Unique Things to Document In Your Travel Journal
My husband and I plan to visit multiple counties at the end of the year. When I told my mother about the trip, she said, “why not create a scrapbook for the trip?” I don’t know why I didn’t think of that, but maybe I know why I didn’t.
In our current culture, we go on trips and take photos and post them on social media for our friends, family, and even strangers to see. So the idea of photo albums, scrapbooks, etc., is not talked about as much today. However, I believe it creates a longer lasting memory than social media would.
I remember looking at my grandmother’s old photo albums of me as a child and realizing how fun it was to take a trip down memory lane. I want to create that same feeling for the trips we will take. However, I would love to do that in a much more creative way.
That’s enough about me; I want to help create the best travel journal you can have so you can have something to reflect back on. Of course, the format, theme, colors, and size of the book are left up to you because everyone has their own style and aesthetic. I do want to give you some ideas of what to document in your journal so you can create as many memories as possible.
